in the last weekMy husband and I went to the restaurant to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. It was a memorable celebration. Service was excellent. Chef Chong was v attentive. He came to explain every dish to us. He even hand wrote a card for each of us. Food was v good, well balanced, full of flavour, good use of local ingredients, well presented. Certainly gave us a different look at our local produce. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food with a local touch, and great service.

a week agoMy husband booked Memoire in Penang for Valentine’s Day while we were visiting with family, and we had a wonderful experience. The dining experience felt intimate and thoughtfully curated. The chef was personable, attentive, and took the time to explain each dish and its ingredients in detail. He also made a genuine effort to engage us in conversation, which made the evening feel very personal. You can clearly see his passion for his craft- every dish was beautifully presented, creative, and delicious. We especially appreciated the small personal touches, like the handwritten welcome cards, which made the experience feel extra special. It was a lovely and memorable evening for our family while on vacation. We would happily recommend Memoire and look forward to returning in the future.
