in the last weekThe historic look of the hotel was what appealed to us when booking and it had this in spades. The room was smaller than it appeared online however otherwise was good. The only window in the room led to this strange little skylight/courtyard, as did the window in the bathroom, which had a blind in the shower - I've never seen that before. Another quirk was the rooftop "pools" which you'll see in the photos. Staff were very helpful with letting us know the best way to get to the bus station.

in the last weekThis was our fourth time staying at Baba House over the past few years. The hotel has consistently maintained its high standards of cleanliness and comfort, and more importantly, the service remains excellent-if not even better than before. The breakfast spread was great, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Baba House continues to be one of my favorite places to stay in Melaka. Well done, and keep up the great work!

in the last weekGreat location just one street from jonker walk, walkable to all the attractions nearby. Atmosphere is super chill and hotel is very pretty (it’s bigger than it looks)! Room floor is quite dusty though, bed is a queen size which is small from what I expected There’s free parking but first come first serve, free 1 drink at the lobby! Overall I would think quite good value for money!

a week agoA beautifully renovated old house hotel, located near Malacca's old town. Very convenient for shopping 💕 I loved the atmosphere of the old house, it had a real resort feel. This time I stayed on the first floor next to the elevator, and I could still hear other guests taking the elevator before going to sleep. The room was small, but the bathroom door was a bit bulky. They only provided large bath towels, no small hand towels. The hairdryer was a bit loud; those who are particular about noise should bring their own. 💕
