3 weeks agoThis is a new place, relocated from a old place near little india. It is much better place compared with the previous one. Bright and with simple design. Bigger and more comfortable. The food quality and standard had been kept, and it maintained and taste great. Not many people and easy for sitting. Some said they cook in near to Malacca style, but we did not manage to different them with the Penang style. Anyway, it taste good and one of our favoured.

3 weeks agoWent early and wasn't busy. The dark soy sauce pork and lor bak is really delicious. Funny is, we always said that restaurant food is good and taste like home and home food is good and taste like restaurant, I guess this is the best in both world? 🤣 It's just good, strong taste, tender meat. The kapitan chicken also very nice, generous with the spices. As Penang Lang, we always loved strong taste food, so glad that they stick to the strong taste, just the way locals liked it, unlike other places where they might tone down or making the food bland for tourists. The waitresses wearing kebaya and sarong adding more vibes too.

a month agoThe food is good, some of the popular nyonya dishes are served. We ordered some recommended dishes on menu. Overall, love the nutmeg, gula tumis grouper fish was slightly spicy for my family's taste, cincaluk pork was extraordinary nice while jiu Hu car was a slight letdown, maybe doesn't suit our tastebuds that much.
