Went to Jonker street night market but it started raining. Found quite a lot of food stalls, we tried some beef pies at a stall but it wasn't freshly baked...tastes like it was baked a day ago and just reheated and sold ☹️👎. It began raining heavy so we went to Hard Rock Cafe and had dinner. I've been to several night markets in KL and Penang, so Jonker market falls quite low on a scale of 1-10 in my opinion compared to the other night markets. Not saying it's a bad place or anything, but for an experience it's OK...

Night market is only available on Fri, Sat and Sun. Very lively and super crowded if you like it. You may also come on Mon to Thurs for more relax and quiet night walks since the night market is not there during these time of the week. Tri cycle and cruise rides are recommended on the evening side, day time is just way too hot to bear unless you only visit Melaka for day trip. Try search on YouTube videos for more info. All the best. 🫰🏻
