a week agoCame here for brunch just as they opened. Beautiful atmosphere with delicious food. Prices are also quite reasonable given that it is in the tourist district. The food took a while but might be because they just began service. Enjoyed the experience! Might come back next time for the craft beers.

a week agoAn Absolute 11/10 Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ *Solo Trip to Melaka 2D1N* Recommended by my local friend. I dropped by The Baboon House in Jonker for a late lunch at 2:30pm on 13Jun2026. Even though it was full house, managed to found a spot for me and there is plenty of seating to accommodate groups of all sizes. The service is excellent, and the staff are both friendly and handsome! The vibe here is on a whole different level, the scenery is stunning. It feels like stepping into a hidden jungle oasis, filled with lush, cascading greenery, rustic weathered walls, and even a peaceful indoor pond. They also selling handcrafted jewelry, perfumes and candles. The food is absolutely amazing. I ordered the burger and mash, and the portion size was incredibly generous. Those savory smoked sausages are superb whether you enjoy them plain or mix them with their chili sauce. To top it off, the Ginger Lemon Beer is next level—so icy, crisp, and refreshing. Highly, highly recommend it. Amazingly, despite having so many plants, there were absolutely no mosquitoes, bugs, or unpleasant odors at all! The spot where I sat wasn't cold, but it didn't feel hot either—just perfectly comfortable. Between the spectacular food and the breathtaking, serene environment, I will definitely recommend my friends to had a visit!
