This is absolutely a place that can’t be judged by its cover! From the outside, it looks like an old shophouse. But the atmosphere inside the cafe is incredible and amazing. We went in the early morning at 10am and managed to get the most relaxing garden seat. We ordered duck sandwich and hash brown breakfast. Both are delicious. Love the vibe here so much. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

What an excellent experience here. The restaurant and setting is beautiful exuding tranquility. The menu is varied, I opted for the lamb aloha burger which was heavenly. There was a subtle heat from the sauce, a beautiful harmony of flavours, complex but working as one. Pineapple and lamb shouldn’t work but the cheese binds everything together as one. The lamb patty is beautifully juicy with hints of rosemary. This one of the most harmonious blending of flavours I’ve tasted. It matches the surroundings, imagine a Chinatown set in a lush and tropical environment. A must try restaurant.

First of all, the food was amazing. I took the chicken leg with potato mash and it was by far my best lunch in Malaysia. The drinks were also great. Chilled water is also available at 1RM. Secondly, the service was also excellent. We got met at the entrance and we were guided all the way to the back into a cozy table. The drinks came almost instantly and the food not much later. Everyone was super friendly. Thirdly, the atmosphere is not something you’ll get at a lot of places. You’ll get a pirates treasure cove vibe with lots of greenery, natural light enters through holes in the top and there’s quite a few attributes. We found this place on TikTok and were not disappointed.

Dining at The Baboon House was extraordinary. The food was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly nice and attentive. The owner was informative and accommodating, making us feel very welcome. The craft beers are a must-try, especially their new yuzu beer which we sampled as a complimentary drink. The restaurant, housed in a preserved ancient building, adds a unique historical charm to the experience. Highly recommended for a wonderful dining experience!

Absolutely loved the vibe in this cafe. We got here on a weekday afternoon- so no crowd. Service was quick. Food arrived very quickly and the portions are generous, flavours were good. The cafe is so tastefully decorated- it really seemed like everything was placed where it was for a reason. It was cosy and well-ventilated. Will definitely be back here again if I can. Parking is a pain but that’s not the outlet’s fault.
