a month agoThe oldest Chinese restaurant in KL. This is an institution for their signature dishes like the Eight Treasure Stuffed Duck and Pei Pa Roast Duck. Simple dishes like Stir Fried Chives with Roasted Pork, Sweet Sour Pork or Sweet Sour Fish are exceptional must-try here. Reservations are recommended on weekends.

2 weeks agoCame here for a family gathering during lunch. Been here many times, truly a gem in KL. Would recommend the crab egg & spring roll prawn salad (crispy on the outside, cold on the inside) RM400+ for 8pax, 9 dishes. Parking lot is behind the restaurant (have to make a big round to the parking spot & walk a distance if you park far)

2 months agoAs local as it gets. It does get pretty crowded so avoid peak periods. Everything was fantastic especially the fish. The only thing we didn’t quite like was the duck, it was a little on the dry side. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area.

a month agoTried out the oldest chinese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. Restaurant ambiance takes you back to the 60's feel. Overall food tasted average and nothing special. Maybe it maintains the old style of cooking. Not bad and nice to try once.

3 months agoVisit date: 29/6/2024 Came for dinner with a big group. We did reservation beforehand and also pre-ordered most of our dishes. Highly recommended to do so if you have 10-15 pax. Service was good, staffs were helpful and obliging with our requests. We added few more dishes when we arrived. Food arrived pretty fast I’d say 👍 The frequency of serving each dish was fast so we our meal wasn’t interrupted - they’re efficient! Being a first timer, I can see why it’s so famous till today. Food was good and generally taste pretty home cooked. Would return!
