Refined Fujian Classics at Gurney Paragon
PUTIEN @ Gurney Paragon offers polished, consistent Fujian cuisine in an elevated mall setting, ideal for family celebrations or a relaxed dinner. Diners frequently praise the attentive staff and well-executed dishes — highlights include the perfectly crisp pan-fried pomfret (干煎鲳鱼) and the comforting braised bittergourd that keeps regulars coming back. The team’s small gestures, like serving 长寿面 for a birthday table, underline the thoughtful service that turns meals into memorable occasions.
The menu is extensive and confidently prepared, making it a dependable choice whether you’re planning a reunion dinner or a quiet weekday meal in George Town. Many guests note the restaurant’s warm atmosphere and steady quality across visits, so it’s ideal for those who value consistency and a broad selection. Trusted by over 1,000 diners, PUTIEN blends homestyle Fujian flavours with polished plating and genuinely hospitable service — a fine pick for anyone seeking elevated Chinese dining near Gurney Paragon.
