The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff takes the time to recommend dishes (in both Chinese and English). Only set meals for two are available; solo diners cannot order set meals. The food features local ingredients and is well-presented, but the overall taste isn't particularly refined or impressive. The restaurant's weakest point is its desserts; improvements are recommended as they don't meet basic expectations given the price.

first dinner in penang was this place and it was disappointing to say the least. flavours were not present, it felt like it was borrowing flavours from my tastebuds instead. ive got to give it to the copywriter who did the menus for making it sound so exciting, but the dishes were a flop plates after plates. nothing rlly stood out and everything felt forgettable and overpriced for what it is. not sure if it's always like this cus there seems to be so many 5 stars but it was nothing like my experience. the team was friendly and helpful but it's not enough to make me come back.

The food was disappointing. The squid was too salty, and the duck was very chewy and full of tendons. Service was also lacking. There was only one server and it didn’t feel attentive at all. On top of that, the utensils we received were dirty, which was quite off-putting. Overall, not a great dining experience.

Inventive and tasty options that draw from local ingredients while giving a creative twist. The large communal table is particularly welcoming for solo guests, and the option to order half portions from the “snacks” section for the persons coming alone makes it easy to sample more dishes. Highly recommended.
