a week agoAn absolute stunner of a meal - the personification of warmth, creativity and deliciousness to boot! It was a last minute booking so we were grateful to be accommodated in an upstairs overflow room, where we were given fantastic advice about what to order, portion sizes, and lots of details about the dishes to help us decide. Everything was fantastic include a standout greens dish with ricotta, the mussel skewer, the pomfret, and the sticky date pudding. Highly, highly recommend!!!!!

2 weeks agoHad such an incredible meal. I asked for refreshing dishes and the chefs delivered! Love the creativity and the use of local ingredients. On par with the amazing meal, is Elle who answered every questions, gave thoughtful recommendations and made us feel very welcome. Elle explained the dishes, ingredients and sourced so clearly, it made me even more curious and fascinated with Malaysia. She’s so caring it shows especially when she showed different ingredients to us. One small recommendation would be for other chefs explaining / introducing the dishes to speak slower, with more emphasis and clear intonation. Not every guest is a native speaker, and we aren’t always familiar with local area names / fruits. Nonetheless, we would like to hear the details properly. So please don’t rush and take your time in explaining :)

3 weeks agoThis was a very memorable meal in Penang. The atmosphere and the food were both excellent. I would like to visit again. Since this is a delayed post and I don't have photos, I can't remember the names of the dishes, but I do remember the roast duck was delicious.
