in the last weekWe enjoyed a refined and excellent dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant Blanc, and to celebrate the upcoming Father's Day, we went to Blanc for afternoon tea. The afternoon tea theme changes from time to time; this time it's for Father's Day: Geisha Blossom Tea We chose the green tea, which had a rich floral tea flavor with a subtle fruity note—we really liked it. Fresh Baked Scones Savory Dishes: Snow Crab Chawanmushi served with Ikura Roe Cod Fish Croquettes served with Caviar Cheesy Spicy Chicken and Corn Tortilla Desserts: Pandan & Gula Melaka Choux Chocolate Banana Tart Peanut Butter & Jam Oolong Panna Cotta with Lychee Aloe Vera These fusion pastries blend French, Japanese, Chinese, and Mexican styles with Malaysian flavors. Freshly baked, they are exquisitely presented and delicious, truly befitting a Michelin-starred restaurant. We also added a Honey Bee Earl Grey mousse, with a sweet and sour lemon filling—appetizing and delicious. Finally, a cup of longan and jujube water, a sweet and satisfying treat. The restaurant's interior design is also in an English style, feeling both noble and elegant; coupled with the attentive and thoughtful service, enjoying English afternoon tea here is truly a blissful experience. The restaurant is also very considerate, offering free Polaroid photos for each table of guests, allowing them to create a wonderful memory.
