At first, I was planning to give this hotel 5 stars because although the room was small, it was clean and tidy. However, after our stay, we encountered a few serious issues that changed our impression completely. The first major concern was the bathroom privacy. The bathroom window was only covered with a mosquito net, which meant the inside of the bathroom could be seen clearly from the rooftop area. When we went up to the rooftop, it was obvious that anyone there could see directly into the bathroom. We raised this issue with the receptionist that same night, but he insisted that no one could see inside. However, we took photos as proof, and it clearly shows that the bathroom is visible from outside. When we returned to the hotel later, the receptionist had already left, so we had no choice but to find our own way to cover the window for privacy. Another major issue was the hot water. When we returned to the hotel at around 11pm, there was no hot water at all. The next morning at 9am, there was still no hot water for showering. When we checked out, we spoke to the technician and gave feedback about the issue. At first, he said the hotel switches off the heater at 10pm and turns it back on at 7am. However, when we told him that we had showered at 9am and still had no hot water, he changed his explanation and said they only turn it on at 8am and that it needs time to heat up. This explanation simply does not make sense. Does the hotel not expect guests to shower late at night or early in the morning? For a hotel stay, having privacy in the bathroom and access to hot water should be basic standards. Unfortunately, the poor handling of these issues and the unsatisfactory response from the staff made this a very disappointing experience for us.
