in the last weekIt’s disappointing that a coffee shop considered one of the top spots in KL doesn’t offer almond milk as an option for a cappuccino. I was also surprised that they didn’t have cocoa powder available, even when I specifically requested it. For a café at this level, I expected a little more attention to these basic customisation options.

a week agoCoffee roaster and cafe with several different roasts available. I had a piccolo (Cortado) with their house blend — flavors were nutty and earl grey with a smooth texture. The Turkish eggs (eggs poached over a tomato chickpea dish) had a pumpkiny/squashy flavor and tanginess to them. I expected them to be stew-like similar to shakshuka so I was surprised by the flavor. The salad was alright. The French toast was a great dessert. Thick toast that was lightly egged/buttered paired with an ice cream that was balanced very well (not too sweet or too rich).
