in the last weekmandatory drink order for each visitor, drinks were so so nothing special, quite pricey. all the staffs have pokerface with unwelcoming voice tone, as if they are forced to do their job. most of the cats won’t approach you first, only a few will do. after I pet one of the cats’ head, one of the poker faced staffs immediately came over to my table, wiped the cat’s head (the part that I petted) with wet tissue without saying anything, and then went back to behind the counter. I was immensely offended with this action. it was as if the staff did that to indeed offend me blatantly. the place stinks a bit, you’ll get a hint of that distinctive animal smell with every breath you take in there. last time I was here, the toilet was gross, floor was wet, toilet room was humid. there were a lot of slippers (probably belongs to the staffs) scattered in front of the toilet, turns out it was for a reason, I guess even the staffs are grossed out by the toilet. the cafe rules made the visitors take off their footwear before entering the cafe, so I just wore one random pair of the slippers to enter the toilet. overall the place were crowded, it was loud & noisy from the crowd’s noise and background music, I didn’t get to talk much with my friends due to the noise before we finally decided to change place. I guess other than the cats, the human staffs are overstimulated and stressed out as well, which will automatically affect the visitor’s mood as well P.S if you truly dive deep into the google reviews, you’ll notice that majority of the one star reviews from 2 years ago up to 2 weeks ago all state the same thing : BAD HOSPITALITY/CUSTOMER SERVICE. The cafe keep on replying with the template answer that they’ll “train their staffs to be more proper & kind” but their visitors still complain the same thing from 2 years ago until 2 weeks ago. I’d say it’s a pretty major red flag, think twice before coming here.
