Bridge Street Prawn Noodle is a must-stop for anyone craving a deeply flavorful bowl in George Town. Famous for its thick, umami-rich soup built on dried shrimp, the broth delivers strong prawn notes without any fishy aftertaste, and a gentle spicy lift keeps it lively rather than heavy. Regulars rave about add-ons like braised pork bones — tender, juicy and perfectly infused with the soup and braising sauce — and the flexible ordering system (choice of size, noodle type and soup mix) makes it easy to tailor each bowl. Affordable and authentic, the stall-style vibe draws early risers and food lovers seeking a comforting, punchy meal; pair your bowl with a robust kopi, tea or yuan yang for a classic local combo. A beloved staple trusted by over 848 diners, Bridge Street Prawn Noodle represents the bold, honest flavors that make Penang’s hawker scene legendary.

a week agoThe Hokkien noodle soup was delicious and sweet. Seating was limited, and the turnover rate was incredibly fast. Although it was crowded, the wait wasn't too long, and the service was quite good; the staff were polite. Parking was right next to the stall, so if you're driving, be sure to look for the entrance.
