in the last weekIf you’re looking for a spot with a minimalist, chic, and zen-like ambiance, ONO nails the aesthetic. It’s the perfect place to decompress in a beautifully designed space. The Highlights: The Food: The Sando was excellent—highly recommended if you want something satisfying. Surprisingly, the salad was also a standout; fresh, delicious, and well-balanced. The Drinks: Clearly crafted with care. The presentation is top-tier and matches the sophisticated vibe of the cafe. The Service: The team is very friendly, though the service is a bit more functional than personal—it could be a touch more engaging to match the premium feel of the place. Overall, a great destination for anyone who appreciates a technical brew and a calm, stylish environment. A Top 100 Cafe of the world at your doorstep. Recommended.

in the last weekMaking the trek from KL to ONO Specialty Coffee & Matcha comes with high expectations, and while the coffee itself is undeniably solid, the commute might feel a bit ambitious if you’re coming solely for a standard caffeine fix. However, the experience shifts entirely once you dive into their creative matcha pairings and surprisingly their food menu. The culinary offerings were the real stars of the show. The Rigatoni Bolognese with slow-cooked beef was a masterclass in depth and comfort, while the chicken wings were a standout side that punched well above their weight in terms of flavor and execution. I also have to give a special nod to the Wagyu Sando. The flavor profile was incredibly rich and sophisticated, the only minor drawback was that it arrived at room temperature, which was a bit of a shame given the quality of the meat. Despite that small timing hiccup, the innovation behind the matcha mixes and the overall kitchen quality make ONO a destination worth visiting. It’s a rare "coffee shop" where the food isn't just an afterthought it’s the main event.

in the last weekThis place surely instagrammed for those who like to do posting. However when it comes to their food and beverages, I’ll say it’s average. I tried both of the non caffeine drinks (with oat milk) as it is too late for me to try their specialty, one is not well shake or blend so I can still eat the crumble powder when I drink it and another one is decaf coffee with oat milk, the combination is kind of weird. The meat ball pasta is overly salty and the meat is tasteless. I know it will blend well when I smashed the meat ball and eat it together with the pasta. However, the meat portion is small and eventually I left with a lot of over salty pasta. Not a well balanced dish. The portobello mushroom sandwich is not bad but because the mushroom size is big so it’s kind of hard to chew. Wouldn’t say I’m totally turn off with the taste, I’ll come again for another try for matcha and coffee drinks.

in the last weekTried their When Two Worlds Collide matcha. Made with matcha cream, it was one of the best matcha I’ve tasted. Rich and creamy, pairs perfectly with the soda coffee once it mixes. Will be back to try their other coffee
