in the last weekWe had an amazing stay at the Tjiong on Rope Walk, one of the townhouse run by the Blue Mansion. We were initially a bit nervous staying in one of the townhouses vs. the Blue Mansion itself but were very happy with our choice. It worked perfectly for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. We had so much space in the house, and being able to sit on the sofas in the afternoon to read our books with the air-con was lovely to cool down for a bit! Also having a washing machine for a few nights in the middle of our trip was a wonderful treat! The townhouses are right in the heart of Georgetown with many cafes, restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. The area is busy (in a fun way!), but the townhouses themselves are on a quieter back-road which was perfect. And then we had full access to the Blue Mansion too. The breakfast there was amazing, and the hotel were happy to pick us up (no charge) whenever we wanted. That being said we often walked – it was only about 10 minutes, and walking through Georgetown is always exciting! Overall we had an amazing stay and would thoroughly recommend the town house.

Her lively explanations really brought the history of this beautiful heritage mansion to life. Definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Penang!

in the last weekNeed to come early to buy the ticket , there have 10:30 ,11:30 ,12:30 ,13:30 . Usually around 12pm will be sold out all the ticket ( but depends on if this holiday🎫) , so suggest you buy ticket first and then you can walk around nearby or to drink a coffee and then back to visiting.
