in the last weekI think this is an excellent place for a visit. A few hands on experiences and it was a very educational and informative. We ended up our visit with the School of Hard Knocks which has a fee for each kids but definitely worth it. The kids knock a pewter piece until it transforms into a bowl. A perfect souvenir for us. There is a souvenir shop at the end with gorgeous pewter pieces with reasonable price you can afford.

in the last weekRoyal Selangor Visitor Centre is a very interesting place to learn about Malaysia’s famous pewter craftsmanship. Visitors can see the history of pewter making, museum displays, and craftsmen working on products. ✅ Beautiful, clean and well-organised place ✅ Free entry and guided tours (very informative) ✅ Good for families and children ✅ You can see the actual making process ✅ Nice souvenir shop with unique pewter gifts ✅ Staff and guides are friendly and helpful Time needed: Around 1–1.5 hours is enough. Best for: People who like culture, history, crafts, and unique experiences Small downside: It is a little away from central KL, and some visitors feel the gift shop encourages shopping after the tour “Great place to visit in Kuala Lumpur. The tour was interesting and educational. I enjoyed learning about Malaysian pewter history and watching the craftsmen at work. The place is clean, the staff are friendly, and it is a nice family-friendly attraction. Highly recommended!” 👍
