A great place for a quick and tasty burger. I had the lemongrass chicken burger, and it was juicy, with fresh toppings and a soft bun. The sweet potato fries were crispy and well-seasoned. Service was fast, and the staff were friendly. It’s a no-frills spot, but if you want a good burger without the fuss, this is the place to go. The lemongrass drink was a nice treat, though a bit sweet. Overall, a solid choice for a casual meal.

Tucked away in the heart of the city, this café exudes a unique charm with its tranquil and rustic ambiance. The combination of greenery, open spaces, and vintage decor creates a relaxing and cozy atmosphere, making it the perfect escape from the bustling streets of Melaka. The food is equally impressive. Their burgers are a standout—juicy, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The menu also offers a range of other dishes and beverages, all prepared with care and attention to detail. The drinks, especially the coffee, are excellent and pair perfectly with the hearty meals. What makes The Baboon House special is the overall experience it provides—a peaceful retreat with delicious food in an aesthetically pleasing setting. Tried the beef burger and sweet potato fries. Burger was yummy and the bun was sweet! The potato wedges were crispy and great! However the sweet potato fries were a little too thin and fried and they didn’t taste as great. Might have been better if they were fatter?

This unassuming restaurant with a small front having amazing interior design with good tasting food and drink. It was a old shophouse in the penarakan heritage area, with interesting layout of the era which the restaurant owner have put in lots of effort to inject a natural x modern feel with many intersting use of plant and rustic items for decoration We were there when there is not much crowd, and the ambient is relaxing with nice chill english songs. We didnt manage to get much food as we were already full when arrive. But the snack we have is good, which motivate us to come back again next time for a full meal if there's next opportunity.

This is absolutely a place that can’t be judged by its cover! From the outside, it looks like an old shophouse. But the atmosphere inside the cafe is incredible and amazing. We went in the early morning at 10am and managed to get the most relaxing garden seat. We ordered duck sandwich and hash brown breakfast. Both are delicious. Love the vibe here so much. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!
