One of the local foodie institutions in town, with history stretching more than 70 years. Very old school setting, with it's rustic charms from over half a century. Service is great and food is prepared quiet fast once order is placed. There are many signature dishes which you need to place advanced order of at least 2 days due to the complexity of preparation and cooking style (braising, marination) which just cannot be rushed. The downside, if you have limited diners at the table, you will not be able to try out as many dishes as you would like. Even the smallest plate size is still quite a large portion. Overall, a very satisfying dinner.

Food: Overall, i think the food is nice, slightly above average. However, I don’t really like the fish, it taste just average. Service: the auntie is unfriendly and show us sour face. Personally, we do not feel welcome. The staff tends to not understand our request and it was tiring as we have to keep asking. Atmosphere: nothing really special It cost us about RM400++. Personally, I think the price is slightly above average.

This restaurant probably is one of the oldest and most renowned ones in KL. It has expanded to 3 lots over the years and provides air-conditioning at the side lots. Environment is a bit weary due to old structure so places like washroom isn't very pleasing to enter but dining area is still pleasant. Great foods, although not all are perfect but mostly great taste with value for money. Pei Pa Duck is a must try here with arguably the best you can ever expect in KL. Others like fried crispy chicken skin, shark's fin with egg and crab and dessert like taro sago.

Very “old school” kind of taste that brings back childhood memories: Food is generally good, and the portion is huge. Love their sweet & sour fried fish, roasted duck, and starter platter.
