Recommend to make a booking at their website before you come. There will be a guide giving you a tour of the center and sharing the history and some facts of the Royal Selangor Pewter. The staff there is friendly. The environment is clean and nice. Even the kids enjoyed the visit especially getting hands on at the School of hard knocks. Those older than 15’yo can try making some accessories at the Foundry.

Lovely experience! We had a free guided tour that helped us understand more about pewter, the history, craftsmanship etc. it really increases our appreciation for the works of art. I was very blown away by the items in the store, they're not just decorative pieces, a lot of them are functional, like sound amplifiers, a light saber document holder, R2D2 tea cannister. Cool to know that they make the F1 trophies. They look like they were having a very serious discussion!

Revisited after 5 years. This time there's a tour guide who brings you around, plus point it's live and interactive. Not so plus point is it felt slightly rushed. Good place to visit to learn about tin mining and pewter. Lots to see and feel. Especially love the factory part where they show how its made.
