Terengganu is such a stunning place, packed with beautiful beaches and picture perfect islands everywhere you look. Our 2D1N trip to Perhentian Island was amazing n I can’t recommend it enough if you’re craving a tropical escape. It’s only about a half hour boat ride from the jetty but if you want to dodge the crowds, Id suggest going during the week. The island is like a paradise..crystal-clear waters, lush greenery, and coconut palms as far as the eye can see. The whole vibe is pure tropical bliss n there’s something for everyone here. Snorkeling is an absolute must. Idd recommend bringing along some snacks and water to keep yourself fueled while you're out on the boat. The marine life is incredible n the fish are super friendly! Sadly, we didn’t spot any turtles this time but there’s always next time. And if you’re on a budget, don’t worry! You can still have an awesome time on the island without spending too much. Try stocking up on snacks before you leave the mainland or consider staying in Kampung Nelayan, which is more affordable...--or even camping! I’m already itching to plan my next trip back n I’m sure you’ll want to add Perhentian to your travel bucket list too. So pack your bags, grab some sunscreen n get ready to experience nature at its best!

I can’t say enough magical things about this island. The fact that you have to take a bus and ferry here makes it feel remote in all the best ways. I spent a week on Long Beach at Oh La La and for a whole month spent in Malaysia, Perhentian’s was the absolute highlight.

Best place to get vitamin sea. There are 2 islands in this place, one is big and one is small. Both island also with crystal clear water and soft sand. The best time to visit the island is around mid of march until the end of September. Also, it's hard to get alcoholic drinks at the island, you need to prepare and bring yourself to the island. Besides, If you need a better night life, i recommend to stay at the small island, The big island doesn't have much night life and entertainment. Things you can do at the island. -Climb the small island hill and visit the wind mill point -Have fun with Water sport -Scuba diving -Snorkeling and island hopping -Enjoy local food -Watch the Fire show (night time) -watch sunrise and sunset Last and most important, please bring more cash because not all places accept e-banking or e-wallets as the payment.
