8 months agoLots of reviews on massive waiting times, but we went at 7pm... Got straight into the train. Bought tickets at the venue without much wait. A lot of the attractions at the top were closed at this time, we only really wanted to ride the train and take some pictures up the top as the sun sets. So that didn't bother us. Got a train down without much wait. Definitely suggest going really early or later on.

2 months agoLook - the view is amazing. Everyone knows it and looks like management know it so they do minimal effort regarding customer service. What is disappointing is the apathetic and basically rude staff. We were travelling with two people 80+ years old and the staff were unhelpful unless we pushed them. Most of them are sitting on their phone doing minimal work. Even when one of parents had to go to toilet - the attendant said they were being cleaned - when they were clearly not cleaning. My father is 86 and got told he had to stay seated and could not look out the window. Not sure if is a cultural thing but very disappointing. FYI - the Olds apologize for standing up and looking out the window.

5 months agoLovely modern way to get to the top of the hill and swift ride. Would recommend express tickets if you are pushed for time, or want front/back seatw

10 months agoIt’s NOT always busy! Avoid Fri/Sat/Sun, check with your hotel that it’s not school holidays and, just to make sure, pre book a Fast Lane ticket and get there by 9am and you will have the best experience! We almost didn’t go having read the reviews but we did the above and had the best time! DEFINITELY worth visiting. We went yesterday (Wednesday) and were treated like VIPS as we were the ONLY people in the Fast Lane! Once on top we went to the info booth and booked Senior (over 60) tickets to the Habitat and were escorted by a knowledgeable gentleman up the hill. We did the Langur Canopy - and were the only ones on there at 10am! A couple of small groups were on the Crest but by hanging back we avoided them completely too and had the Crest to ourselves! Also highly recommend the Edge Hill Gallery to learn all about the funicular, including the 2017 typhoon which caused severe landslides. We spent about 3.5 hours up top and had a great time! Enjoy your trip!

a year agoA great day out. We enjoyed the tide to the top. The views from the hill are spectacular. We also enjoyed the golf cart ride to the monkey cup cafe. But the highlight is the walk through the habitat rainforest. The monkeys were very cool and the views fantastic
