a week agoFor a chicken rice, okaylah, sedap. I wont say it is the best chicken rice in KL, but, it is definitely a place that I don't mind coming again. The rice itself is aromatic and yes, ada rasa ayam and tak rasa macam nasi kosong. Fried chicken & steamed chicken setakat ni selalu dapat yang soft & juicy 1 of my stars is specifically for the minced ginger chilli sauce. Sedapppppppzzzz !!!!!!!! If i am selfish, I want to finishkan the whole bekas Kerabu mangga nicee ! Crunchy mango, not salty, very generous with the ikan bilis + kacang. The beansprouts were also nice ; Not overcooked, tauge crunchy. Service- fast. Parking - on weekend selalu parking haram dekat tepi jalan depan kedai. Price - mahaaal. Tahap kekenyangan lepas makan - 8/10🤰🏻

2 weeks agoA good Halal Chicken Rice spot which taste was just ok & mild. Suggest you to go earlier to avoid long queue.

5 months agoThis chicken rice establishment holds a special place in my heart, as it has been a part of my life since my childhood in the 1980s. I recall it as a modest stall operated by an elderly Hainanese lady. The grilled chicken was exceptionally succulent and flavorful, complemented perfectly by their signature butter rice. Their special chili paste further enhanced the overall taste experience. Currently, they are expanding their business to meet Michelin standards. The quality of the food has slightly decreased, but it still remains delicious. However, the pricing is a bit high. On the whole, I still yearn for it.

4 months agoSoup is good, rice is very franganced and not too oily. Chicken is tender and not over cook or bloody. Mango salad in Thai style is on point not too spicy or soup. Very good choice of mango, Crunchy with very nice mango fragranced. They r generous with kacang 🥜 and anchovies. Soup is served hot and with pinch of white pepper spiced, garnished with fresh coriander which blend very well with the soup. Halal certified.

a month agoFood Review Chee Meng does not disappoint. The Bukit Bintang branch is already my favourite chicken rice shop anywhere and really happy to say that the quality here is just as good. I got the thigh roasted chicken rice and it’s just as juicy and full of flavour like how i like it. We also ordered the sotong goreng. it was well battered and seasoned. Service Super quick. We were surprised too. Sat and started eating in less than 10 minutes. Grabbing here, bus or carpooling is advisable because parking is difficult. Atmosphere Not too packed. In a classic shophouse kind of building.
