I especially appreciated how helpful and friendly the airport staff were.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) has a great architecture of the main terminal (Terminal 1) which is impressive and bright, however required improvement. Cleanliness, of washrooms, and immigration waiting times are as per international standard. The airport is recognized for its range of shops and dining options. The efficiency of the train connecting the terminals is also generally well-regarded.
Overall, while KLIA has some impressive features and a wide array of services, consistent maintenance and customer service appear to be areas where improvements could enhance the passenger experience. Moreover, there's not enough charging facilities and drinking water, which required an immediate attention from the airport management.
A very modernized international airport for the region. It shows this great country has room for improvements, for example, the signages are not very clear and the washroom facilities are not as modern as some other Asian countries. Nevertheless, airport is clean, comfortable, and relatively easy to navigate around.
As someone who frequently flies from KLIA, I can confidently say that KLIA is one of the best airports I’ve ever been to. While it may not be among the largest in the world, its cleanliness, efficiency, and overall service quality consistently impress me. The facilities are well-maintained, and the overall airport experience is smooth and pleasant.
That said, I do hope to see some improvements in the future, particularly in terms of public transport connectivity and the ease of transit between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Better accessibility would definitely elevate the overall passenger experience even more.
As a Malaysian, I’m truly proud of KLIA – a gateway that reflects warmth, professionalism, and the spirit of the country. Keep up the great work! 🇲🇾✨

KLIA is clean, spacious, and well-designed. The terminals—KLIA (Main Terminal) and KLIA2 (Low-cost Terminal)—are efficiently connected via train and shuttle.
✅ Connectivity
Excellent connectivity via ERL (Express Rail Link) to central Kuala Lumpur in just ~30 minutes. Clear signage in English and Malay makes navigation easy for international travelers.

Immigration can be quick during non-peak hours, but delays are possible during busy times. Security is generally smooth and well-organized.
✅ Shopping & Amenities
KLIA offers duty-free shops, premium brands, local crafts, and great food courts. Muslim prayer rooms, child play areas, lounges, and clean restrooms add to the comfort.
✅ Hospitality & Help Desks
Friendly and professional staff. Help counters and digital info kiosks are helpful, especially for first-time visitors.
