The lush greenery and beautifully designed aviaries made for a fantastic setting, and the rain actually added a refreshing touch to the atmosphere. Despite the weather, I was still able to see a wide variety of stunning birds up close. Many of them were active, and the covered walkways provided enough shelter to explore comfortably. The highlight was seeing the free-flying birds in the massive walk-in aviary—it felt like stepping into a tropical paradise! The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that visitors still had a great experience despite the rain. I’d love to come back on a sunny day, but even in wet weather, this park is absolutely worth a visit.

Had an amazing time at KL Bird Park! Walking through the free-flight aviary felt like stepping into a tropical paradise, surrounded by colorful birds flying freely. Peacocks were posing for photos throughout the way, and the feeding sessions were a great experience. The park is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A perfect place for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking for a relaxing escape in the city. Will definitely visit again!

We were struggling to find something to do in KL and found this place online. We took a taxi there, paid in, and spent around 3 hours wandering around and watching displays. We saw birds being fed with fish, a hornbill being fed with what looked like fruit, and a show from performing parrots. This park covers a large amount of ground, with a system of double gates to go between areas, and high netting, which gives the birds much more freedom to fly than in a traditional aviary. Despite that, several of the birds appeared to be in poor condition, including an ostrich which was missing a lot of feathers and had either plucked itself or been plucked by someone else. I've been surprised at how cheap things are in Malaysia, and found this more expensive than most places I have been. Tickets were 85 Ringgits, about £15 and a fresh orange and pineapple juice, which was largely ice was over 19 Ringgits, around £3.50. Food was the most expensive I have seen, more expensive than the restaurant in our hotel. The park is difficult to get to, expensive by Malaysian standards, and I have at least some questions about animal welfare. I'd be inclined to give it a miss unless birds are a huge interest.

What an amazing place! It's paradise park with the most beautiful and very rare birds. Large birds are walking freely, smaller ones are in large cages, seems like they have sufficient space to them. Entrance fee is 85 MYR but absolutely worth it. Not many visitors which allows even more unique experience. Can easily spend couple hours there, it is big enough. They also have few little cafes with drinks and snacks, also bathrooms. There is part with monkeys too.
