a month agoA Hidden Gem for Traditional Breads and Cakes! This charming bakery offers a wonderful selection of traditional breads and cakes. I tried a few different flavors, and they were all delicious! They also serve breakfast, and my family especially loved their Mee Siam—it truly captures the comforting taste of home. Definitely worth recommending if you're in the area! I’ve seen many comments about the staff's attitude, but perhaps we don’t need to expect too much to enjoy our experience. There’s no need to demand $200 worth of service for a $2 purchase—you get what you pay for. Especially when the place is busy, it's unrealistic to expect a big smile from someone who’s already working hard. Sometimes, a little understanding goes a long way.

3 months agoGreat toasts! The otah with egg sandwich was pretty good, it has an old school taste and the sauce just add a touch of tanginess to the overall experience. Kaya butter sandwich did not fare well though. In general we dislike the artificial butter (or margarine) taste. Nasi lemak and mee siam both pretty good. All in all we had a great time here. Oh, the best part? Many old school pastries and cakes to choose from!
