We arrived at Gunung Lambak at 8:30 am, greeted by cool weather and a slight crowd. The climb to the summit, which stands at 510 meters, was semi-difficult for an absolute beginner but immensely enjoyable, as it primarily winds through a forest with cool, dewy shades. Climbing Experience: The friendly and considerate climbers added to the experience, greeting each other with smiles and good mornings, making the ascent more pleasant and encouraging. Summit: The summit has recently been renovated to include a boardwalk, offering a gorgeous view with various photo opportunities. The effort to reach the top was well worth it for the stunning scenery and the sense of accomplishment. Descent: The hike down was just as enjoyable as the ascent, providing a satisfying end to the adventure. Tips: I would definitely attempt this climb again, but it's essential to come early to enjoy the cooler weather and fewer crowds. Wearing proper grippy hiking shoes is a huge plus, ensuring a safer and more comfortable climb. Overall: Gunung Lambak offers a rewarding and scenic climb, perfect for both beginners and experienced hikers. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy nature and a bit of adventure.

Gunung Lambak, not only good for beginner hikers, it is also good for training before any big hike. You can bring your family, as the surrounding area at the starting point has a variety of food stalls, and cafe, also a water theme park. It takes about 1 and 1/2 hour to climb up and another 1 hour to descend, if your pace is an average pace. For me, I took less than an hour to climb up and 30 minutes down.

This pinned location is wrong & not accurate, guys! Should navigate to “Pusat Rekreasi Gunung Lambak”. Anyway the hiking experience was great! We used both “laluan awam” and “laluan extreme”. We reached Puncak 1 & the view is breathtaking

It was fun to climb with family or friends.I climbed with my fellows in company and we had much fun. We spent around one and a half hour to reach the top through the extreme route.Yes,there's two route when u reach half of the mountain , one was shorter but harder, have to grab ropes or hold onto rocks to be safer.Meanwhile the other is longer but easier, just like stepping through stairs. It takes 30minute more for the easier route.Do be cautions of some loosened branches, logs and rocks, don't easily hold onto them when you're climbing, check twice! It really was a great place for people who like to climb in the morning, air was fresh on the top of the mountain.Theres two mountain top.Anyways ,climb on your own risk.If u really can't go on anymore, stop and rest . All the best.

Gunung Lambak has plenty to offer. On the fringe of Kluang city, it is a great natural playground for the locals’ daily exercises, and attracts regular visitors from as far as Singapore. The compact twin peak is ideal for a quick and high intensity hiking workout, with easier paths for beginners and the straight up, “as-the-crow-flies” steeper slopes for those seeking VO2max training. If you yearn for more (+2 hour), at the signal tower summit, heads down to the Big tree and the temple (where you can get drinks and water), and back track up to Peak 1 and then Peak 2. After the climb, reward yourself with plenty of food choices in the town, or visit the Kluang Railway coffee.
