a month agoYou can climb up the mountain via two routes - one is more steep and involves holding on to guide ropes as you scale up the slopes. Another route has a relatively gentler slope coming up/going down - both routes meet at around a few hundred meters in elevation at a midway point where you can proceed further up to the mountain peak. Bring water, chocolate/energy bars and be sure of your footing as some parts can be dangerous (one fall and its game over). Take your time to go up/down and avoid coming here during or after rain as conditions will be treacherous. Good luck and happy climbing!

10 months agoWe arrived at Gunung Lambak at 8:30 am, greeted by cool weather and a slight crowd. The climb to the summit, which stands at 510 meters, was semi-difficult for an absolute beginner but immensely enjoyable, as it primarily winds through a forest with cool, dewy shades. Climbing Experience: The friendly and considerate climbers added to the experience, greeting each other with smiles and good mornings, making the ascent more pleasant and encouraging. Summit: The summit has recently been renovated to include a boardwalk, offering a gorgeous view with various photo opportunities. The effort to reach the top was well worth it for the stunning scenery and the sense of accomplishment. Descent: The hike down was just as enjoyable as the ascent, providing a satisfying end to the adventure. Tips: I would definitely attempt this climb again, but it's essential to come early to enjoy the cooler weather and fewer crowds. Wearing proper grippy hiking shoes is a huge plus, ensuring a safer and more comfortable climb. Overall: Gunung Lambak offers a rewarding and scenic climb, perfect for both beginners and experienced hikers. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy nature and a bit of adventure.

a year agoA good and safe place for hiking. There are two trails to cater for hikers with different strengths. A place where one can appreciate the wonder of nature. Please try to understand the routes from the map before ones ascend.

a year agoVisited on a weekday to escape from the crowd. Out & back took less than 2hrs (1hr to summit, 50mins down) climbing up is easy but the descent is a little challenging as one need to be very careful of the roots. There will be ropes for assistance on the tough bits.
