2 weeks agoThe set tasting menu showcases the best of local, seasonal ingredients. The 48th-floor location offers breathtaking city views, elevating the dining experience. The chef's innovative approach to local cuisine, with dishes featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients that are often sourced from different parts of the country. While some dishes, like the cockscomb, may not be to everyone's taste, the overall creativity and attention to detail are impressive. The attentive staff is knowledgeable and passionate about the food, providing excellent service and insightful explanations of each course.

2 weeks agoThe staff was nice but this was not even a 1 star Michelin experience. It starts with arrival. They are adamant about arriving on time, you get multiple reminders including email and text, so we arrived 15 minutes early. Upon arrival we were told we could not go up the elevator until exactly 18:00 and not a minute before. Literally we walked over to the desk at 17:59 and the lady looked at her watch and said "not yet". On top of they there is no nice place to wait just a small coffee shop with seats "for customers only" so we bought a water and awkwardly waited. This was the start of our experience and things didn't look up all the way until the end of dinner when we had to wait 15 min for the check. The view from the restaurant is very nice. The food is good and there are some creative dishes but service details are lacking. At most this is a Michelin 1 star.

a month agoWe dined here last night, and it was one of the most disappointing fine dining experiences I've ever had. We were expecting exquisite Malay cuisine but instead received cockscomb and old dairy meat. For $350 AUD each, the food was shockingly low quality and utterly unacceptable. While the staff were pleasant and accommodating, that couldn't make up for the complete failure in the kitchen. I understand the focus on sustainability, but if you're going to charge premium prices, the quality must match. This was a total letdown, and I can't recommend it. *photo below: the old dairy meat and cockscomb 🤮🤮🤢🤢

a month agoHad the opportunity to enjoy this menu before they changed it. It was a really good dinner. I can’t express how much I enjoyed the food and the hospitality there was so amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly and I had the chance to snap a photo with the team! The food was very special, it’s not like other fine dining experience or other fine dining food. They used Malaysian ingredients and Malaysia sourced indigenous produce which as a Malaysian I don’t even know some of the ingredients and they did it very well with all the ingredients. I enjoyed everything. My few personal favourite would be the venison, dumpling, cempedak ice cream (substitute of the banana leaf ice cream) and the kuih sarang semut. Overall really enjoyed tall the food. Just want to thank the team for making this an unforgettable experience!

3 months agoWell worth the 2 Michelin stars - had an amazing dinner experience with impeccable Malaysian ingredients and flavors, warm hospitality by the staff and magnificent non-alcoholic pairing with the food. The view of the KL skyline truly elevates (no pun intended) the experience. The kitchen tour was a highlight too as we get to know the origins of uniquely Malaysian ingredients. Well worth a visit! Only room for improvement for the team's consideration is a waiting lobby or lounge for those who arrive earlier. Waiting at the lobby with no seats just waiting for 6pm so that we can get on the lift wasn't what we expected.
