Excellent chicken rice, no matter steam or roast version. Because I tried both. For the steam version, juicy and flavourful. For the roast, it was just nice. Paid RM$36 for 2 persons brunch. The steamed chicken breast meat was smooth and tender. The roast chicken was a bit rough and tasted average. The chicken feet and peanut soup was full of peanut taste. The lady finger was crunchy. The rice was not as fragrant as the chicken rice sold in Singapore. Service was friendly and efficient. There was no queue as we arrived at 10.30am (1st customer).

Chicken is not really nice, but the advantage is they have wide places and lots of tables suitable for big family sizes or groups of friends. You can try either steamed chicken and chicken feet and peanut soup. They also don't sell any pork.

Chicken rice shop that opened since 1965. Everytime go to Kluang sure will take my sweet time there. Even it is chicken breast, it is still tender and juicy. As I know, the chicken is cooked in long time under long temperature, it is to make sure the meat is cooked evenly and water and fat is locked inside the meat. Then it is dipped in cold water to keep the tenderness of the chicken. The rice is cooked in shallot oil instead of butter or chicken oil itself. Make sure you eat the chicken rice with ginger paste and chili paste. The meat will then explode heavenly and melt in your mouth. You will definitely order another chicken leg irresistible. It is not like the commercial chicken rice. Really appreciate and like this kind of traditional dish. Support their determination and perseverance in making it.
