a week agoFor the views, it's incredibly worth it. The hike up wasn't that hard either. Bunch of stairs but was really manageable. Do note that there's only 1 sad cafe up there and the queue is always inhumanely long. Not worth it in my opinion.

3 weeks agoIf you are in Cameron Highlands, you cannot miss this. They have an educational tour that takes you around the tea preparation factory, from sorting tea leaves to grading them. There is also a session where they share how to prepare and enjoy good tea based on different tea leaves category. The compound is huge and visitors can browse through the shops selling all the products from this brand. They also have a cafe with an amazing view of the sloping hills outside where tea leaves are plucked by workers. It was great to breathe fresh air and feel the cool breeze of the Highlands whilst you sip on hot tea and sample their pastries. Our tour is conducted in English and we were told that no photography is allowed inside the factory hence I have only taken and shared pictures from the outside to honour their rules.

2 months agoWe did an all day tour of Cameron Highlands which included a stop at one of the tea estates and little later a stop at BOH Tea Centre for some refreshments and bathroom break. The facilities specially the cafe and the gallery are very clean. The washroom facilities at ground level not too clean, but at the cafe level was clean. The gallery and the cafe has amazing views. The cafe is all glass which gives a good feel of openness and green view of the tea estate. The cafe food is was okay. We didn’t find any vegan choices except for dry toast and jam. The iced tea was good. Go for views and some great pictures.

a month agoVisited with the assistance of our driver Simon from Ipoh airport transport and tour service (local & outstation). If you love tea this is heaven, but if not just come for the views and charming atmosphere. The interesting factory tour is free with friendly helpful guides. The gardens are beautiful and the cafe has refreshing drinks and snacks, plus a spectacular viewing platform of the surrounding tea plantations. If you miss out on a tea tasting session don't despair as fresh leaf tea available at the cafe. The shop has an extensive range of teas and gifts. The road is narrow so it was good having an experienced driver - but if self driving take it slowly.

a month agoWarning. Road to this center is extremely dangerous. Be very cautious and mindful when driving the small and twisting road. However once arrived the view is worth it. Once car is parked (FREE) walk to the steps to hike the tea plantations to get to the restaurant and tea center. People with disabilities or babies in stroller can request at the parking guard to drop off closer at the center without having to hike the steps but after drop off driver still need to go down and park at the base and hike the steps. Have umbrella standby because sometimes it rains unexpectedly. Price of food is expensive. Self service from order to food pickup. Order made by filling order chit at the entrance no qr scan or phone needed. After payments collect foods at the side. Tour schedule are quite frequent can try at this center. Gift shop has a lot of rare and exclusive BOH items do check it out. Tea sampling also available close to the tour waiting area.
