5 months agoMy new favourite cendol place. Cendol served with coconut milk, brown sugar syrup and shaved ice. Their coconut milk not too thick, brown sugar not too sweet. Always crowded but managed to find seats. They cook in front of the shop. Cooking utensils always clean and shiny.

3 months agoIt looks like this cendol place has been here for ages and frequented by locals, mostly. The cendol (shaved ice, coconut milk and brown / areng sugar) is nice, not too sweet or over the top like most so-called “hip” cendol stall nowadays. I’m glad to see they still maintain the original way of serving cendol. We came around 2:30pm and not too many customers then. Parking was also easy to find along the street as the street was also somewhat quiet. For Muslim visitors to Batu Pahat, there’s a mosque (Masjid Arab) just 2 minutes walk from the cendol shop. Turn to the right as you exit the shop and you’ll see the mosque right at the road intersection.
