Good place for nyonya dishes All dishes are descent, except asam bak. It is too salty and the lean pork is hard. Ayam pongteh, fried squid, Kai lan, steamed fish, otak-otak nothing much to complaint. My dad satisfied with the dinner. Fried squid is cut into smaller pieces easier for kids to eat. Their white rice come in one pot. I went during public holiday. They only accept walk-in and no reservations. Reached at 530pm and waited 10min for table. Toilet is clean, comfortable environment to dine in.

Very disappointed with the experience. Despite being informed that walk-in customers would be served on a first-come, first-served basis, later arrivals were attended to before us. There was also no effort from the staff to communicate with us, such as asking if we were willing to split seats or wait for a table together. When we approached the staff politely, the response given was unprofessional and rude. This reflects very poorly on the service quality.

Had a great experience at Nancy’s Kitchen in Malacca! The food is truly authentic Nyonya cuisine—rich flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and dishes that feel homemade in the best way. The ambiance is warm and nostalgic, giving you a real Peranakan dining vibe. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving genuine Nyonya food!
