Tip - call to reserve a table and pre-order the rice. You can add on other items once you arrive. Super efficient service. Hands down the best clay pot rice I’ve had. Not overly salty, crispy rice at the bottom, proportion of chicken and Chinese sausage to rice is decent. It comes with the dark sauce and oil already mixed in. The seafood tofu is also a winner. Did not try the pig stomach soup as we don’t enjoy this dish but almost every table ordered it. Would totally make this a must stop next time I’m in KL

This is a very down-to-earth Michelin-rated restaurant. We visited on a Monday night, and we had to queue for 10 minutes to place our order, and then wait another 10 minutes for a table. The restaurant has two sections—one with air conditioning and one without. If you’re assigned to the non-air-conditioned side, you can request to move to the other side. We ordered three dishes: a small portion of claypot chicken rice, the soup of the day, and stir-fried sweet potato leaves. The claypot chicken rice had a nice charred flavor, with large pieces of chicken, though the bones were also quite big. They were generous with the salted fish as well. The soup of the day was watercress and chicken feet soup, which I found a bit salty but well-cooked. The stir-fried sweet potato leaves were done nicely and were tender. Overall, I think it’s worth trying, though the dishes were a bit on the salty side.

Surprisingly even with the peak lunch crowd we only needed to wait for 15minutes. Service was quick. We got our food 10 after we sat down. Overall taste is tasty. The pepper soup is good though...

great, one of my best meals in KL. claypot rice was super flavourful, 2 large servings is more than enough for 4 adults (especially if you’re getting other dishes) I liked how the salted fish was served in a separate saucer for you to add your own preferred amount. seafood tofu was delicious, and so were the beansprouts. Would definitely recommend a trip here
